Entry 20: Cyberwelless - Cyber Addiction
Dear Class
My favourite computer game is Naruto-Arena. I spent about 30 minutes playing computer games. I am not cyber addict but if I would be cyber addict to the game and my marks drop. I will stop playing computer and study even harder and if I am free I will read a book instead until I get better results. In order to prevent cyber addict we must make sure that we must have a balanced lifestyle in playing computer games, studying and spending time with your family. If my friend is cyber addict I will tell him or her to have a balanced lifestyle or else you will not get good marks for your exams and your parents will be disapointed.

Entry 19: Effects of Preventive Measures on Pupils
Dear Class
I think that the school preventive measures for H1N1 is good because the school is concern about our health and therefore if there are no assembly, there will not be people in the hall and the virus will not spread. I think the cancellation of high achivers affected me because I will not be able to learn more new things. I think the relationship with my friends and teachers are affected too because I will not be able to talk to my friends fom other classes,teachers in my high achivers class and my CCA teachers and friends. I think that the activities outside school are not affected.

Your sister has bought a new piggy bank as a birthday gift for her best friend. Upon seeing the present, her best friend returned it to her immediately and said that its material gives a clear view of the amount of coins and dollar noter she has put into and she does not like this idea.
Your sister looks at the piggy bank again and she cannot figure out what is wrong with the material of the piggy bank. My sister approaches you for help.
She needs you to tell her what is wrong with the choice of the material for the piggy bank and what would be a better material in this case. As this gift is quite costly, she want you to come up with solutions to alter the desighn of the piggy bank by ensuring that people cannot see the amount of coins and dollar notes put in.
You are encouraged to present your ideas to your sister creatively.

Self Discipline
This story is about a boy who had no self discipline.'Give me all your money or I will bet you up.'John demanded.''Ok' Joshua said.As Joushua gave John all his money and ran away like a coward.Indeed John is a very naughty boy, he bullies people and take their moneys away,likes to say vulgarities,do not do his homework,ran away from school and shout at teachers and his parents.
One day,it was just after recess.'John can you stop saying vulgarities and behaved like a normal boy!'The teacher shouted angrily.'Shut up, you old woman!'John shouted.The teacher was furious and shouted angrily, 'GO TO THE PRINCIPLE OFFICE !'he walked out of the classroom pointing his tougue out.When he got there the principle saw him and knew what had happened and said 'You had been sent here 34 times is it because of a fight , vulgarities or not done homework?' John replied 'vulgarities ,old man.' 'Ok this is the last time, i am going to cane you and call your mother.' the principle replied as he took out a very thick cane and started caning John.John did not cry but he just laugh and shouted stupid. The principle called his mother and told her that John had to be suspended for two weeks for misconduct.
At home , he put down his school bag and headed for the laptop as if it was like a holiday. His mother shouted 'don't you dare touch the laptop!' John replied with frustration 'shut up you old woman!' And just use the laptop. His mother was furious and decided to put a password on the laptop and did not let him watch the television. John was very angry and locked himself in his room and throw his things around. Cups , books and stationary could be seen lying around everywhere. After a few hours inside the room John decided to think about what he had done.When John came out of his room he was a new person he did not shouted at his parent but he told them nicely 'Mum, Dad , sorry for all the trouble I caused for you , i promise you will never ever get a phone call from the teachers or principle about me being bad. Instead it would be praises about me.'
When he returned to school his classmates were scared of him but when they saw him so kind they decided to friend him. And now John had turned over a new leaf and became a boy with self-discipline.The moral of this story is if you're a boy like John you still can turn over a new leaf like John.

Entry 18: Reflective Time for Science (Light Energy)
Dear Mrs.Tan
When I am playing the piano, I on the lights so that I can read the notes. When my family watch the television we on the lights. When I am doing my homework I also on the lights. When my mother cooks she on the lights too and when my father reads the newspaper.
Light helps us to to see what are we writing, to see each others, to play, to take pictures and to see what are we doing.
If there is no light, everything will be black so we cant see anything and will bump into one another and all living things will die because plants will not be able to make food therefore they will die, so herbivores do not have plants to eat and will die, so carnivores will not be able to eat the herbivores therefore they will die, so omnivores like us will die because there are no plant and meat for us to eat.

Entry 17: Classroom Cleanliness
Dear Mrs.Tan
I think that my classroom is clean because my form teacher, everyday asked us to pick up the litters on the floor and to sweep the floor.I think that it is important to keep the classroom clean because if we do not keep the classroom clean, germs will be flying everywhere and we will get sick.I sweep the floor, pick up litters and emptying the basket.I learnt that if we do not keep the classroom clean, the classroom will be very dirty, there will be germs flying around us and we got to study in a very dirty classroom, therefore we will get sick. The school values that I learnt from this cleaning activity are, Intergrity, Excellence and Self Discipline.

Entry 16: Influenza A H1N1

Influenza A H1N1 is a disease spread by pigs.It is spread by humans, When a person sneeze without covering their mouth or coughing without covering their mouth the disease will spread everywhere or when someone touched something with flu virus on it the virus will attack his/her body. Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States of America, are countries that have people with Influenza A H1N1.This countries people put on a mask so that when they sneeze or cough the disease will not spread and they will stay at home. I think that taking temperature is effective in preventing H1N1 because if you take your temperature and if you temperature is higher than 37.6 you should go see a doctor to make sure that you do not have the virus.I am going to wash my hands after and before I eat, after using the toilet i am going to wash my hands and when i cough or sneeze i cover my mouth.

Entry 15: SA 1 Review
Dear Mrs.Tan
I think that the SA1 papers have test me fairly.I think that the English paper,Chinese paper, Science paper and the Maths paper have test me fairly.I think that the test papers has test me fairly because all the topic that were tested on the test paper were all thought by our teachers.I think that i did not do well in this semester because i did not have enough time to complete my maths paper because i spent too much time on two questions but then i decided to skipped this two questions and move on, but at the end i left out one promblem sum and did not do the two questions.I think that the enrichment classes in school are useful, they thought me lessons that were not thought in my form class.I think that my parents and my tution teacher had been useful.Ever since after SA1, i went for tution and i my english started to get better.I am not going to play so much computer game and will study even harder for the next exam to come.

Friendship
Dear Mrs.Tan
This story is about friendship. It was just after exams. Everyone was eager to know how they did for all their subjects. Sliver's teacher is now saying out all the marks that they gotten.Susan:English 94/100.Maths 89/100.Science 90/100.Chinese 91/100.(clapping)
................And finally it was Sliver's turn. He was very eager to know his marks,he thought that he would be the first in class as he had been revising though the whole two months.Sliver:English 50/100.Maths 67/100. Science 54/100.Chinese 66/100. Sliver was bewildered. Suddenly,'HAHAHAHA'his classmates laughed. Sliver's face turn as red as a tomato.As the teacher shouted,'Stop laughing at Sliver,do you like if people laugh at you if you did not do well for your exams ?.'as the children stop laughing.
Ringggg..........Ringggg. The school bell rang it is recess time.Everyone ran out of the classroom with happy faces except for Sliver,he walked despairly out of the classroom.Not long after Sliver's class has reached the canteen everyone rushed towards the stalls like a bulldozer.Sliver walked towards a stall and bought his food and walked out of the crowd.Suddenly he saw his best friend Blake. He walked towards his best friend holding a bowl of noodles.Suddenly Blake shouted,'Stop.' 'What happened? 'Sliver asked curiously.'I dont want to sit with a stupid person and i am not your friend anymore.'Blake said.Now Sliver had became a lonely boy as Blake was the only friend he had in school.'Everybody this is your last warning ,please go back to your class now!' shouted a prefect from Sliver's class. As he was walking back he heard his prefect classmate shouted at him 'Haha, you stupid boy,I bet my dog can score better than you ! ' Sliver ignored him and walked back to class with his head held low.
As Sliver walked back to class he saw his classmates laughing about something.He thought that they were laughing at him so he decided to hide somewhere that no one could see him. Not long after, his teacher came and then he stood up and join his class standing at the back.After much studying it was time to go home.Ringggggg.........Ringggg..........The school bell rang. All the pupils packed their bags and ran out of the classroom.When the teacher and the pupils were out of the classroom the teacher locked the door and said,'You all did well for your SA1 and remember to study hard for your SA2 ok?'All the pupils shouted,'OK!'As the teacher brought them out of the school.Sliver walked despairly out of the school and then he walked back home.It was dinner time Sliver told his parents what happened in school today and said that he will not play computer games and study very very hard for the next exam to come.
Three months has passed and it was just after SA2 now the teacher is reading out all their marks Blake: English 65/100 Maths 54/100 Science 64/100 and Chinese 66/ 100.Blake was shocked. Entry 14: Kindness
Dear Mrs.Tan
Kindness means by helping someone and to respect one other.It is important to be kind because if you are kind to people,people will respect you and by your friend,and you will feel happy of what you did.We can show our kindness by helping the elderly cross the road,lending someone somethings they need and to help them when they sad.I lended my friend who is sitting beside me an eraser and a ruler and felt happy the first time but when he ask me for the third and fourth time i felt a little annoy because he is surpost to get an eraser and a ruler by now but i thinks that he thought that i could lend him the eraser forever.I would like to help an elderly cross the road in the community.I can promote the message by telling them that,if you help someone,that someone will be happy and you will feel happy too and you will feel grateful of what you had done.

Entry 13: International Friendship Day

We celebrate International Friendship Day because as to make more friends from other countries.The meaning of ASEAN is Association of South East Asian Nations.My knowledge about ASEAN is not so good.I do not really like it because when the pupils are playing the anklong its to soft!I can't heard them playing.Yes,I have a friend in the ASEAN countries her name is Jia Qi i got to know her when she was primary one.I think the school could organise some games and food from the other countries.

Entry 12: Improving the School
Dear Mrs.Tan
I like the computer lab the best because there are air conditional and we can do our blog and play games too.I think the toilet can be improve,we can improve it by putting some potted plants,putting on more colourful painting and pictures and putting some nice smell.I think the hall can be improve because in the morning there are lots of teachers and pupils so it will be very cram.I think the pupils can help by moving more to the side so the children in the middle will have more space to sit.

Entry 10: APSVoice
Dear Mrs.Tan
My CCA is badminton,I will report to the hall at 1.30pm.Before my CCA,I will bring my bag along wherever I go.When we were at the hall,we put our bags near the gym's equipment.Our CCA leader will ensure that our bags our neatly arrange and he will keep an eye on our belongings.Our CCA mates will take turn to take care of our bags.After my CCA, my CCA leader will ensure all the CCA mates has taken back their belongings or else he will wait for everyone to take their belongings back.

Entry 8: Review of T1 Target-Setting Exercise
Dear Class,
I think that the purpose of setting targets is to want us to achieve harder to reach our targets. Yes, I think it is useful because when I am not do so well in my studies the targets will make me want to work even harder.I will listen attentively in class,do assessment and do my homework properly.My parent are helping me by teaching my homework,correcting my mistake and teaching me words that I do not know.I think my form teacher Mrs Tan can give us a little more homework for us to do.

Entry 6: March Term Break
Dear Class,
I think that the school get the pupils to read books every morning is to let us improve our composition writing.I like reading because it can help me in my composition writing and my English.I like to read comic book and adventurous type of storybook,I think that reading can help me in my school work because when we are reading a storybook there a some good words that can help us in our grammer and vocabulary.I think the school can give out a letter and tell us to write down what storybooks do we like.I recommend 'Beast Quest'the author is Adam Blade,I like to read his book because it is very interesting,exciting and he use a lot of nice words.

Entry 5: Activities Outside School
Dear Class,
I have some outside school activites and CCA,i have badminton,high achievers and piano lesson.I spent 4 days on these activites.I feel very stressful because on Monday,Wednesday and Friday I have badminton CCA and I think that I do not have enough time to complete my homework. I spent 2 hour on batminton,2 hour on my high achievers and 45 minutes on piano lesson.I think badminton and high achievers are necessary because batminton can make me heathier and stronger,high achevers can make my maths and science improved even more,piano is not necessary but I took part in this activity because i love to listen to music.

Entry 4: Journey Earth Hour 2009
Dear Class,
I think we should all take part in this activity.On April 22nd 2009, Singapore and 370 cities including Singapore are going to off their lights from 8.30pm-9.30pm.We off the lights to save up electricity.We should also save paper,like in school after your teacher have gave you a form there will be a acknowledgement slip and you will pass the slip to your teacher.And for the top part of the slip is a letter,some of you will throw away the letter and paper come from trees and if all the trees are being cut down for paper there will be no oxygen for us to breath and we will all die.So we must play a part to save up paper.

Entry 3: My Visit to Thye Hua Kuan Hospital
Dear:class
When i first step into Thye Hua Kuan Hospital i felt excited because i wanted to see the happy faces of the old foks.When we went up to the fourft floor,i saw many sad faces but when we went into the room and told them our nice word and gave them the goodies,they started to smile.I felt very happy when i saw the happy faces because i thing some old foks did have any one who came to visit them in the chinese new year but we visited them and gave them something,there was one man who was very happy to see us.And i learn that we must help the needy when they need help like,you was on a bus and you saw a old man or old lady carrying a lot of things do kindly let your seat to them or when you saw a old man drop some fruit on the foot path kindly help the old man pick it up or even you give away your unwanted things to the needy.
